Brassage des différentes manifestations de l’art, elle accueille de manière quasi informelle musiciens, peintres, danseurs, poètes et leurs publics,qui se lancent des défis artistiques .

Cousine ou grand mère du « bœuf » dans le jazz, c'est un moment privilégié et intense , où les musiciens soutiennent l'impro d'un conteur (en alexandrin siouplait), où un conteur joue le récitant d'un ballet ,ou une impro de tambor peut être dansée, ou deux (ou plusieurs voix ) enchaînent les strophes d'une aubade spontanée

En los últimos años la producción de Ponjuan ha evolucionado marcadamente hacia el objeto y el ensamblaje, al tiempo que en su obra bidimensional reaparecen ideas, materiales y motivos ya desplegados en aquellos dibujos de mitad de los ochenta. Al cabo de unas dos décadas, su trabajo se ve otra vez definido por el uso del lápiz, del grafito, y de la fotocopia retocada; por la representación efectista, dosificada con devaneos decorativos y verismo fotográfico; y por una elaborada manipulación de imágenes –con frecuencia de origen mundano: entresacadas de revistas, libros de arte, impresos, catálogos tipográficos- cuya banalidad resulta neutralizada en el proceso de adaptación, o bien se hace invisible ante el aura de lo enigmático.

 

En los objetos y ensamblajes, el libro es el centro de todas las disquisiciones. Transmutados en relieves, tensados entre lo decorativo y lo mecánico, estos objetos aluden a la idea del conocimiento como máscara, y como disfraz ridículo.
